There’s something about the power of praise that really sets the tone for a right attitude toward our God. When He answers our prayers it’s exciting and in many situations, it’s like we’ve been given a new beginning all over again. On this program, we hear so many in need and it’s a blessing to hear praises to the One who answers those prayers.

What a Gift

As a community, we’ve been praying through the Word of God. Today we are looking at Mary’s song or... prayer -  she’s responded with faith to the news that she will carry and raise the King of Kings, Jesus. 
Elizabeth has pronounced a blessing over her, and now, we find her praising the Almighty for who He is having been mindful of her state.

All Praise is Due

Last week we left Mary right after she was told by an angel that she would conceive unconventially and give birth to King Jesus. Her response was recorded in Luke 1:38 “I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May your word to me be fulfilled.” Then the angel left her.
Next we find her visiting family, and she’s greeted with our focus for today.

In today’s culture the words obedience and obey have negative connotations. However, they bring a great blessing and a mighty faith builder. On tonight’s program we’ll go over the story of an obedient young lady, who faithfully accepted God’s will despite the possible negative consequences.
